Welcome! We’re a small, woman-run business crafting fresh baked goods and seasonal floral bouquets. We bake in our cozy home kitchen and grow all our flowers naturally using pesticide-free methods.

Quality and sustainability guide everything we do. Our baked goods are free from preservatives and low-quality ingredients, and our packaging is intentionally minimal, prioritizing reusable and recyclable materials.

At Flower&Flour, we love helping make your holiday, event, anniversary—or even an ordinary day—a little more special.

Starting again in spring 2026 and continuing through the fall, we offer a weekly rotating subscription featuring one seasonal bouquet and a curated assortment of baked goods. It’s a delightful way to treat yourself each week.

Our Story

We were started in July 2025 by two friends with a desire to bring local weekly joy to fellow Portlanders. Janetta has a vibrant urban garden that produces tons of vibrant flowers, fresh herbs, and seasonal veggies and her friend Katie brought the stoke, style, and innovative bake ideas from across the country.

We’ve started small, with selling at local street fairs, farmers markets, and holiday events but with big dreams ahead of us.

  • We offer a range of solutions designed to meet your needs—whether you're just getting started or scaling something bigger. Everything is tailored to help you move forward with clarity and confidence.


  • We will do our best to accommodate specific preferences, dislikes, and dietary restrictions. At this time we cannot accommodate subscription clients who are solely gluten free or vegan, though some weeks we will provide baked goods which are either GF or vegan. We will do our best to accommodate allergies, but because this is a home kitchen, we cannot guarantee that our products will be entirely allergen friendly. Please let us know if you do have an allergy when signing up for a subscription in the notes section.

  • Absolutely! You can get in touch by submitting an inquiry via our “Contact” page, or send a direct email to flowerandflourcompany@gmail.com. Please try to give us at least a week’s heads up for custom orders, and at least two weeks for large orders.

  • Getting started is simple. Reach out through our contact form or schedule a call—we’ll walk you through the next steps and answer any questions along the way.

  • We combine a thoughtful, human-centered approach with clear communication and reliable results. It’s not just what we do—it’s how we do it that sets us apart.

  • Absolutely! If you have preferences, please indicate them in the order form, and we’ll do our best to ensure we’re bringing you florals and goods that you love. We’ll let you know if we’re unable to accommodate these preferences (such as if the right florals aren’t in season, etc.)

  • When you subscribe, you’ll receive a weekly delivery of seasonal flowers and freshly baked treats—no planning or shopping required—so you can enjoy life’s little luxuries with ease.

    Subscriptions allow us to plan ahead, source the best ingredients, bake fresh each week, and reduce waste, ensuring every delivery feels special. As a one-woman business working from a home kitchen and garden, your subscription also provides steady support that allows us to invest in high-quality ingredients and more creative floral designs—creating a richer experience all around!

  • We keep things flexible: there are no minimum commitments and you can pause or cancel your subscription at any time. It’s all about bringing joy to your doorstep, on your terms.

  • Baked good rotations will be planned on a monthly basis. Each four weeks that you subscribe, you will receive one week each of a savory, sweet, spicy, and seasonal baked good.

    All our baked goods are vegetarian, though we do use dairy, eggs, and honey (so not vegan).

    When we say “spicy”, this can include a savory good with a bit of a kick, or any type of baked good that incorporates spices. We will often incorporate spices from around the world in this week’s delivery.

    When possible, we will incorporate ingredients from our home garden into our “seasonal” delivery weeks. This can include things such as fresh herbs, produce, fruit, etc. We also partner with local producers and growers to bring you items that are local and fresh (for instance, for sourcing local honey and fruit).

  • Currently, we make deliveries on Tuesday afternoons, but we’re happy to work with you if you need a specific day or time. We deliver to your home and can place the goods in a spot of your choosing. We prefer to place goods in a shaded area that is mainly protected from the elements - a front or back porch works wonderfully, as does a lean-to, in a deliveries basket, you get the deal. We’re also happy to knock or ring the doorbell to let you know, but we won’t do that unless you specifically ask for us to do so.

  • Absolutely! Delivered flowers and baked goods make an amazing gift, especially for those people in your life who “have everything” already. Please make sure you specify where you want the goods delivered when ordering online, and include any relevant information (including the recipients’ contact information, as well as your own) when you place the order.

  • Delivery fees are included in all F&F subscription prices. In general, custom orders often incur an additional delivery fee of $15 within Portland city limits, though this is waived for large orders. Free pickup in North Portland is also available.
